SMC are looking for Statutory Inspectors to join their team - Employed and Contractor positions available

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to contribute to a sustainable future? We are looking for a motivated and skilled Statutory Inspector to join our dynamic team in the offshore wind industry.

🔍 About the Role:

As a Statutory Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections of offshore installations, and supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards in safety and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of cranes and service lifts
• Carry out TMSE tasks throughout the tower
• Client interface On Site
• Safe use and maintenance of company tooling and equipment
• Inspection of company and client equipment in line with LOLER and PUWER Regulations
• Service and Inspection of fire extinguishers in line with fire Safety Regulations
• Reporting on inspections, works and QHSE using company systems
• Adhering to safe systems of work
• Supporting team lead in creation of relevant project reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly reports)
• Undertaking any other tasks that might reasonably be required in a safe and efficient manner

Skills:

• Statutory Inspection Experience 
• Davit Crane Inspection Maintenance and Load Testing with waterbag on models such as Palfinger, Seasight, Noreq Acta and Granada 
• Nacelle Crane Inspection and Maintenance on models such as Demag DS10, HIAB V2/V4, HMF & Palfinger PCWM3300
• WTG Service Lift Inspection and Maintenance on models such as Avanti X & XL, Skyman TH250 and Goracon 
• Strong Communicator 
• IT Proficiency 
• Responsible and Accountable
